My Demon Lord, Your Shepherd Girl Has Run Away Again: She Hid the King of Hell
The father who abandoned Ingrid on an island wants her back. King John remembers her only when her stepmother and stepsister decide they want the betrothal she was promised, to Lucifer, the King of Hell. What nobody in that house knows is that Ingrid has already met him. She hid him once without knowing who he was, and then she fled.
She can also speak to every living thing and heal with a touch, which the family never bothered to notice. The series runs 51 episodes in dramafinds.
What My Demon Lord, Your Shepherd Girl Has Run Away Again is about
Her revenge is the engine of the early episodes. Ingrid comes home to a household that treats her as an obstacle, and she starts working against the people who put her there.
Lucifer is what derails it. He claims her as his own and refuses to stay a background detail in her plan, so the revenge has to share screen time with a man who has decided she belongs to him. The line the series leaves you with is that this time, he will not let her escape.

The shepherdess they keep underestimating
The word the family uses is ignorant. Ingrid is a shepherdess, which in their house means someone who smells of animals and does not understand a court. The show undercuts that with what she can actually do, and the gap between the label and the ability is where the series lives.
Everyone has decided what she is worth based on where she was raised, and the plot keeps putting her in rooms where that judgment is wrong. It is a familiar shape in this genre, and it works because the audience is in on the secret long before the family is.
She walks back into her father's house as the one person there who can do something none of them can. If you like underestimated heroine short dramas, the Dramafinds catalogue has more.
The betrothal is a rematch
That turns a political arrangement into a second round between two people who already have history, and the title says as much. "Has Run Away Again" implies a first escape, so the question the series builds toward is whether she can get out a second time.
He also sees through her. Ingrid performs for her family, and Lucifer is the only character who reads it correctly, which makes him both the threat to her revenge and the one person who takes her seriously.
Not every viewer is sold on the balance. On r/Vertical_Dramas, the recurring complaint is that Ingrid is bullied for most of the run while the villains get off lightly, and 51 episodes is a long time to spend with a heroine who keeps losing. The later episodes are where that balance is meant to shift.
