Zero to Alpha: Return of the Wolf King — 51 Episodes, Plot & Ending
Imagine being thrown out of your own pack because everyone thinks you are too weak to ever become a real werewolf.
Then imagine returning twenty years later powerful enough to destroy enemies that terrify the Alphas who once looked down on you.
That is the appeal of Zero to Alpha: Return of the Wolf King.
This 51-episode fantasy short drama follows Nory, a supposedly “wolfless” outcast whose return turns his old pack upside down. If you discovered one of his ridiculously satisfying comeback scenes online, you can watch Zero to Alpha: Return of the Wolf King full episodes on Dramafinds and follow the whole story in order.
Why Was Nory Banished From His Pack?
Nory's problem starts long before he becomes powerful.
As a young werewolf, he fails to awaken his wolf form. His Alpha father sees him as an embarrassment and drives him away from the Bronze Wolf Pack.
His mother is one of the few people who refuses to give up on him.
Away from the pack, Nory ends up training under three extraordinarily powerful Masters. Twenty years pass, and the boy everyone considered worthless becomes someone operating on an entirely different level.
The funny part is that Nory does not seem to understand just how strong he has become.
His Masters have spent years surrounding him with monsters of strength, so defeating powerful opponents feels almost ordinary to him. That makes his return even more satisfying: everyone else sees an outcast while viewers already know they are badly underestimating him.
It is classic underestimated-hero storytelling, but with werewolf clans, vampires and increasingly absurd power levels.
If that sounds like your kind of binge, Dramafinds also has more werewolf, fantasy and comeback short dramas.
Nory’s Return Is Where the Fun Really Starts
Nory does not return home looking for revenge.
He wants to see his mother.
Unfortunately, his family still remembers him as the useless boy who could not awaken a wolf.
His brother Van is especially unwilling to accept him back. Nory is challenged to prove himself in the clan tournament before he can even get what he came home for.
That turns into one of the drama's most satisfying stretches.
First, Nory destroys a testing stone that nobody expects him to break.
Then he faces Master Rosade, an opponent the other competitors can barely survive against.
Everyone assumes Nory is about to be humiliated.
They are very wrong.
The gap between what the pack thinks Nory can do and what he can actually do is basically the engine driving Zero to Alpha: Return of the Wolf King.
How Many Episodes Does Zero to Alpha: Return of the Wolf King Have?
Zero to Alpha: Return of the Wolf King has 51 episodes.
Both ReelShort's full-episode listing and the Dramafinds drama page show a total of 51 episodes.
That is useful to know because this drama is already all over video platforms.
A random clip might show Nory destroying an opponent. Another jumps to the vampire conflict. A third suddenly introduces his mother's condition without explaining how the story got there.

What Is Nory Really Fighting For?
For all the power battles, Nory's real motivation is surprisingly simple.
His mother.
After returning home, he learns how much she sacrificed for him and how badly her health has deteriorated. Saving her becomes one of the main emotional threads of the second half of the story.
Nory needs several rare treasures to cure her, including the Everfrost Flower, Emberleaf Grass and Elixir of Life.
Of course, none of those are sitting conveniently on a shelf.
They are protected by powerful supernatural forces, which gives Nory several more opportunities to discover that the creatures everyone else fears are not nearly as frightening to him.
That mother-son storyline is what keeps the drama from becoming nothing but endless “everyone laughs at Nory, then Nory destroys them” scenes.
Zero to Alpha: Return of the Wolf King Ending Explained
Spoilers ahead.
Nory ultimately manages to gather the materials needed to save his mother Iris.
But the bigger revelation is about Nory himself.
He was never truly the worthless, wolfless failure everyone believed him to be. His mother had discovered that he carried an ancient werewolf bloodline that was sealed while he was young.
By the end, Nory saves his mother, helps protect the werewolf clans from the vampire threat and finally awakens that ancient bloodline.
The outcast who was expelled for having no wolf ends the story becoming the very kind of powerful werewolf his family never imagined he could be.
It is not a subtle payoff.
But after watching people underestimate him for episode after episode, subtle is probably not what you came for.
