I was kicked out of the shelter at the start, so I turned around and created a zombie-free zone

Chen Mo was the finest architect and the most trusted "drudge" of his cousin, Chen Lei. In the days leading up to the apocalypse, Chen Mo dedicated every ounce of his energy into fortifying his cousin's shelter. But the moment the project was completed, Chen Lei turned on him mercilessly. Not only did he pocket all of Chen Mo's promised compensation, but he also broke his earlier vow to protect Chen Mo's family, beating him mercilessly and driving him out of the shelter. Chen Lei believed he had secured the ultimate ticket to survive the end of the world, but little did he know that Chen Mo had secretly built a "secret survival hatch" into the structure. Alone and undeterred, Chen Mo retreated deep into the mountains, where he constructed an even more advanced and impenetrable base. There, he began his own predatory quest for revenge. Amidst the blizzard raging with relentless fury, Chen Mo watched his enemies—cold, starving, and desperate—through his surveillance system. Without hesitation, he pressed the button that sealed their fate, cutting off every path to survival. This act of revenge was merely the opening chapter.
