Benedict was happily slacking off at university when an unexpected accident sent him tumbling through time. He woke up to find himself the third disciple of Cassius, bound to The Merit System. Within six months, he'd mastered the Lightning Fist, summoning and commanding thunder at will. So when his master set out for a meeting with the wealthy Mr. Orson, he casually brought Benedict along. Foreign tea? Piece of cake — back in college, Benedict downed a latte every morning. English? So easy. After all, isn't a 21st-century university student basically already "studied abroad"?
