You Made Me the Pirate King

In magic-worshipping Bostoni, Prince Jack Vane is betrayed by his father the King and fiancée over a prophecy he'll seize the throne. He becomes a pirate. Sea monsters then invade. Jack builds the Trident Fleet, conquers the seas, gains the Sea God's trident, and returns to claim the throne.
