Elven King's Fallen Star: The Wife He Betrayed Was His Starbound Mate
An elf king chooses one woman over another, and the wife he set aside turns out to be the one the bond picked for him. Elven King's Fallen Star spends 51 episodes on that mistake, and Kelwyn needs a great deal of proof before he will admit he got it wrong.
The night Kelwyn chooses Silvennie
Alina is married to the elf king when he picks Silvennie, the woman who says she pulled him back from death. That claim is enough for him. He chooses her, and the bill goes to Alina, who loses her baby and her standing in the marriage over a decision she had no part in. It is one of those short dramas where the betrayal is a settled choice that no conversation would fix.
A wife who gives up before he notices
What Kelwyn does not count on is Alina's reaction. She gives up on everything, and the marriage ends faster than a revenge plot would have managed. Most short drama series keep a wronged wife swinging for the whole run; Alina puts the fight down early, which leaves Kelwyn with nothing to defend himself against.
What the Starbound Mate bond turns out to mean
The bond settles it. Kelwyn's true Starbound Mate is Alina, the wife he once despised, and he reaches that conclusion with the marriage already behind him. A late realization is a common hinge in fantasy short dramas, and this one lands it on a king who cannot argue with the verdict.
